So I was over at Jessica's and she had this marvelous idea to punk rock it out. Well, I released my inner badass, thanks to Garrett's Pink Floyd Shirt, Jessica's england belt, her pants and high heels. I wore nothing of my own except for my white tank. Might I also add she made the necklace I was wearing. Its made up of a bunch of chains, whats a crafty and amazing friend I have. Well I had a marvelous time dressing punk and somehow maybe it can become part of my wardrobe. (Also thank you to Jessica's photography making me look halfway decent)

Summer must-haves

Whether your in some exotic tropical or european getaway for sumer OR (like most of us) maybe just chilling at home there is still summer must haves for where ever you are across the globe. So I decided why not do a take on my own summer must-haves, not meaning this is what you have to have its just my take on what you should dump into your bag.
- A camera. Whether digital or the throw away kind you can get at the drugstore, you need something to document all the crazy, wild, funny, or lazy things you and your friends do this summer.
- An Ipod or mp3 or something that plays music. You need some tunes that are the soundtrack to your summer so when you go back and listen to them memories go with them. Might i also suggest what my best friend Jessica did, she made a summer playlist which is a fabulous idea.
- Magazines. You need something to read while your getting a tan, so you don't look like some tired person that sleeps all the time, also magazines keep you up on the latest fashions. I prefer Nylon magazine because it talks about new artists and t.v. shows and has very dynamic and interest fashion pieces(:
- A bikini or bathing suit (whatever floats your boat). Pretty much self explained.
- Sunscreen. A tan is perfect, and with sunscreen you get that tan but also protect yourself from the sun's harmful rays.
- An oversized bag. To fit everything.
- Sun-in. If you want golden locks and your a light brunette or a dark blonde, Sun-in works wonders. I love it!

Urban Times

I was just doing a little research online and stumbled across this little number. Although a little girlie I'm drawn to the possiblities of this dress even if some of you may beg to differ. Maybe a little sundress over a navy bikini or throw a motorcycle jacket on and some plain jane flip flops or even barefoot with hair in a messy bun and a lightweight scarf thrown over top. (If wanting to buy this dress it is on urbanoutfitters.com by Kimchi Blue Ruffle Floral Knit Dress for $48.00)
Surf, Sun, and the Sand

My newly beloved St. Christopher necklace. I may not be too skilled in the area in the actual area of surfing but I love this necklace. Jessica and I were shopping and she saw this necklace in Sun Diego and said she had one at at surf camp along time ago. (She gets all the credit for letting me copy her) So we obviously each bought one, and I am absolutely in love with it, and the story behind it was in the '60s St. Christopher was the protectors of surfers and when boys and girls exchanged these necklaces it was a symbol of going steady. Who doesn't like a good story behind a classic staple of jewelry.
A day in May

Well today was just another school day. I don't know why they still drag on school in May, some people are out already. I'm so jealous. Anyways pining for summer I'm wearing a thin cotton white pintucked rolled sleeve shirt from Forever 21 and Abercrombie&Fitch Jeans courtesy of my best friend Jessica's closet. I also rocked my plain old black converse and a blue St. Christopher necklace. Its very plain but what can I say, I'm just a girl ready from some summer sun.
